Welcome to Tapper Talks – a platform born out of pain, healing, purpose, and LOVE.

My name is Ryan Tapper, and the journey that led to the creation of this space began during one of the most difficult chapters of my life. I was battling severe panic attacks and overwhelming stress on the job. For a long time, I didn’t understand what was happening to me. After many consultations, I finally received a diagnosis: Extreme PTSD. It was both a shock and a relief – I had a name for what I was going through, but no idea what it meant or how to begin healing.

That moment changed everything.

I realized that I wasn’t alone and that far too many people suffer in silence. I felt a deep need to be a voice for the voiceless, to support others walking through their own mental, emotional, and spiritual storms. And so, Tapper Talks was born

I remember the exact moment I started writing this. It was 8:46 PM on March 4, 2022—the first time in a long while that I felt clear enough to sit at a computer and organize my thoughts. As I looked at my unfinished website, something in me said, “Now is the time to take control of your life.” Writing this "About" section felt like the right place to begin.

I wouldn’t be here without the love and support of many. First and foremost, I thank God for His eternal love and forgiveness. My wife and children have stood by me through every hardship, and I know my journey has affected them deeply. Their unwavering love gives me strength every day.

Despite the pain, this journey has only deepened my compassion for others and strengthened my faith in God. From a young age, I found joy in reading the Bible and attending church. That foundation continues to sustain me. I truly believe that Tapper Talks is more than a website—it’s a calling, a mission I was meant to fulfill.

This space is for you—the everyday person navigating silent battles. Whether you're struggling with PTSD, stress, trauma, or simply trying to find peace in a chaotic world, I hope you find encouragement, hope, and community here.
